We have said more than once that keeping the customer informed about the stage their job has reached, by every means available, benefits not only them but your company too. A job done well is not only about what you do at the customer site, but about everything along the way.

In response to your questions we built the Customer Portal. Through it your customers can check the stage of their job at any moment from anywhere in the world, and download the quotes you have prepared or the invoices you have issued. We are also making a knowledge base available, where you can publish all the important information about your products and more besides.

Thanks to this module, end customers can look up the equipment assigned to their account along with any additional information, and download reports from completed jobs, quotes and invoices. A messaging module makes communication between the company and the end customer easier.

To give a customer access to the portal, go to the CUSTOMERS tab, find the customer and open their details. At the bottom of the view you will find a CONTACTS tab. Click add, fill in the required fields and grant portal access to the right person.

Once saved, the system automatically emails the address you provided with a note about the access granted and an automatically generated password. From then on the customer can see all their previous jobs and documents.

The customer portal combined with our SMS module is a powerful tool that, used well, can raise the share of returning customers by as much as 65%. Over the coming days we will present further modules that extend what the application can do.
